some pictures of the trips

In recognition of his invaluable work for The Gambia Reality, we as a family made a personal donation of a car to our Gambian representative, Mr Lamin O'Bojang. He and his family have been a great help both to us and the charity. Without Lamin and his knowledge the charity would not be where it is today. It also means that on our visits to The Gambia we no longer have to rely on public transport to enable us to carry out the charity work.

The car is now a registered green tourist taxi generating an income for Lamin and his other driver Easy ( Osainou is his Gambian name ). They will provide trips to tourist attractions and local venues which may not be on offer elsewhere including visits to The Robert Kemp Memorial Nursery School in Brikama and airport/hotel transfers.

Some of the trips on offer are Lamin Lodge, The Crocodile Pool. Tanje Fishing Village, Serrakunda Market, South Gambia Tour, Georgetown, Roots Island, Paradise Beach and the surrounding area, Makasutu,Banjul and Brikama town with its woodcarving market.Throughout all of the trips Lamin or Easy will be your guide and stay with you at all times unless requested not to do so.

For the more adventurous tourist they have on offer a visit to a typical low income family compound where you can  experience the Gambian daily life which can also include eating traditional Gambian lunch in the traditional Gambian way.
